Privacy
Plain-language draft of how Dog Wif Mask ($DWM) may collect, use, and share data when the stack is live. Prototype today stores almost nothing server-side.
1 · Short version
Wallet address is the account key. Optional profile and Mask Mail fields are yours to add. We do not sell email lists. Partner embeds and Mask MCP must not receive private email. You can ask to export or delete account-linked personal data when those flows ship.
2 · Data we may process
- Wallet / auth: public address, signature proofs, session tokens.
- Profile: display name, avatar, linked socials, pack memberships, points, public flex.
- Mask Mail: email, verify status, marketing opt-in / opt-out, send/open/click events for messages you agreed to get.
- Product activity: board joins, mission completes, campaign proofs, moderation flags.
- Technical: IP, device/browser metadata, logs, cookie or local preference flags (see Cookie prefs).
- On-chain: public blockchain data is public. We do not control third-party explorers or indexers.
3 · Why we use it
- Run the board, packs, points, drops, and partner tools.
- Verify missions / campaign completions and fight fraud.
- Send Mask Mail only to opted-in addresses.
- Secure sessions, debug outages, improve the product.
- Meet legal requests when required.
4 · Mask Mail rules
No opt-in = no marketing email from us. Unsub links will ship with real sends. Campaign buyers who purchase blasts only reach the current opt-in set under product rules — they do not get a raw dump of emails.
5 · Sharing
We may share data with:
- Infrastructure vendors (hosting, email ESP, analytics if you allow).
- Moderation / security processors.
- Partners only for scoped public or campaign metrics they are allowed to see — not private email.
- Authorities when legally required.
We do not sell personal information as a business model.
6 · Retention
Keep account and ledger data while the account is active and as needed for security, disputes, and law. Marketing email stops on opt-out; suppression records may remain so we do not email you again by mistake. On-chain history cannot be erased.
7 · Your choices
- Edit public profile fields when the profile desk is live.
- Opt out of Mask Mail anytime.
- Set analytics / marketing cookie prefs on /legal/cookies.
- Request export or deletion of off-chain personal data linked to your wallet (subject to fraud, legal hold, and public chain limits).
8 · Kids
Services are not directed at children under 13 (or higher age where your country requires). If we learn we collected personal data from a child contrary to law, we will delete it.
9 · International / security
Servers may sit in multiple regions. Crypto and web apps carry breach risk; we aim for reasonable safeguards (access control, encryption in transit, least-privilege admin) but no method is perfect.
